About Xin

Dr. Cheng brings over 30 years of multi-industry experience and operational expertise in establishing and cultivating businesses on a global scale. He participates in all aspects of strategy and approach for the portfolio investments. He served as Chairman and CEO of Sorrento Networks, Inc.; Meret Optical Communications, Inc.; Osicom Technologies, Inc.; and President and COO of Dowslake Microsystems Corp.

Dr. Cheng holds a B.S. Degree in Physics from Nanjing University, China, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
